Yes, believe it or not, 2012 me said some pretty shitty things I’m not proud of. Thankfully, growth and personal development are things.
The thermostat in my office and the tutoring lab is borked today, and it is currently 61° in here. I am so cold. 🥶
I want to play God of War: Ragnarök, but I’ve never played a God of War game before. Yesterday, I decided to start God of War (2018) and got sucked into it. Probably played for five or six hours. This game is hard.
What’s the best Decemberists song, and why is it The Island?

I mean, truly… just a magnum opus.
A co-worker (who is, admittedly, a bit odd to begin with) said to me yesterday, "Well, I guess Missouri voted for more homelessness..."

What a naïve and offensive misunderstanding of cannabis.
I've had more students impress me this semester than ever before. I've also had to deal with more academic dishonesty this semester than ever before. What's going on?!
Ahh, Election Day, aka the night I sleep worse than any other.
Quickly becoming obsessed with Marvel Snap, and it’s all @DracoFire87’s fault.
Enjoying a cup of mulled apple cider thanks to a friend/coworker. ☕️
I was just followed by a local whose profile was full of intentional misgendering and transphobic shit. I had never hit the block button so fast in my life.
Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism like some kind of congressman? 🎶
Also watched a thriller called "Hush" (2016) yesterday evening. Interesting twist on the home invasion subgenre. I could definitely see people comparing it to "The Strangers," but found this one more compelling.
Last night, I tried out two Xbox games I never really got into before: Halo (probably still not for me) and Ninja Gaiden Sigma (holy crap, it's good).
It’s spooky season, so I’ve decided to read The Amityville Horror. I’ve seen a few of the movies and bits and pieces of enough documentaries to know that the Lutz family is full of attention-seekers surrounded by shysters. As such, I can’t read this as anything more than fiction.
Started Wild Arms on the PS5 this evening. It’s got that classic 90s RPG feel. Released in the US four months before Final Fantasy VII, I can see how this game might have been overshadowed. From the hour or so I played tonight, though, I’d say it’s still worth checking out…
I find it personally offensive how far I have to scroll to get to my birth year now when filling out online forms.
A couple of days ago, Sydney and I went to GameXchange with my buddy Owen to look for an N64 expansion pack (we didn’t find one there, but did get one elsewhere). As we were leaving the store, Sydney asked me, “Do they sell old Xbox consoles?” (1/4)
Hey! What’s this Twitter Circle thing? Seems pretty cool. If you’re seeing this, consider yourself special, I guess? If you’re not seeing this... oops. At least you won’t know you were excluded because you’re not seeing this. 🤷🏼‍♂️😃
Tonight’s episode of House of the Dragon was unbelievably good. Best episode yet, and good enough for me to [almost] forgive the showrunners for the actress-changing time jump.
The brain fog is dense this morning.
