Good morning from Goa! A few more butterflies (+primate) from our ongoing tour. Guests also just had a relaxing river cruise for some birdwatching.

5 species of kingfisher, White-bellied Sea-Eagle, Brahminy Kite, plus lots of different herons, terns & egrets among the highlights.

🦋'Bolivian Butterfly Brilliance'🦋

Our happy group just saw over 60 fresh Anteros butterflies of at least 5 different species.

There's about 16 species in the genus, part of the Riodinidae (metalmark) family.

Pictured below is Anteros formosus by tour leader Adrian Hoskins.

'Flying Tiger'

A female Danaus chrysippus. Common names are Plain Tiger, African Monarch, or Sultan, depending on where you are in the world. That hints at the how widespread a species it is.

We currently have groups butterflying in India & Bolivia and recently completed a very successful trip in South Africa.

Hutchinson’s Highflier was a top target there & our guests got unrivalled views of this stunner!
