It’s also the question of why should the rule change because the cards were designed to work one way in Limited, Standard, other formats without color restrictions?

Plenty of other cards either don’t work or work differently in commander because of the format’s rules, but hybrid’s special somehow?

I should add that the 3x Eidolon and 3x Kor Firewalker plays were all played early in the game, so it was as sloggy as could be from the get go

I only managed to win instead of draw because the convoluted APNAP order of Eidolon and Kor Firewalker triggers gave me an opening that had him at 2 life long enough for a Grim Lavamancer activation to sneak in

I once played a Boros burn mirror in modern where we each cast 3x Eidolon of the Great Revel and then each cast 3x Kor Firewalker. We swung into each other and both had Boros Charms each time

Just have to be wary with Myriad or Helm of the host because an animated land will only make animated copies with static effects from permanents like Nature’s Revolt

Earthbend, activated abilities animating it, other triggered abilities, etc. the copies will enter as regular, non-animated lands
