As someone who has to buy healthcare through the ACA, I really hope that some Republican House Reps vote with the country and working people to extend them or make them permanent soon. It’s not as though I want to be reliant on subsidies but it’s getting harder to find a job in this economy.

In my 10 years of building apps, one of the most important things I learned is I hate seams.
Seams are friction. Seams are papercuts. Seams are breaks in your UX. And one seam is slow app launch.

I think if Microsoft wants to continue in the consumer business, they really should go and buy Discord. It makes sense. They can continue to say that they are where the gamers are, they can replace Teams for consumers with Discord which has the user base. They can even add AI.
