I like the Prince’s little tiny private castle, complete with a slide and a tiny fountain and a one-person swing set. And now that Kitty Pryde has been transformed into a proper princess, he thinks maybe she was better the way he was before. #marvel #excalibur

We also meet this Queen Mother of this universe, who seems to be this world’s equivalent of Saturnyne (including a romantic past with Captain Marshall, their version of Captain Britain)! And the Queen Consort looks remarkably like Princess Diana. #marvel #excalibur

Captain Britain says (I presume seriously) that superheroes in Britain have to wear a helmet, by law, “…same as motorcyclists.” We also learn that he’s powered by the unique energies of England, which explains why he got weaker after too much time in New York! #marvel #excalibur

This giant creature is called a Shaitan, and it’s kind of a cross between a huge demonic dragon and a puppy. It’s only here for three pages and never appears again in the entirety of the Marvel universe, but it’s a cool design and I wanted to point that out. #marvel #excalibur

I don’t know what dimension this is, but it’s a medieval version of 1989, if that makes any sense. For example, this knight rides a horse and carries a sword, and there are pixies and dryads around, but he also wears a Walkman! And he’s no match for Lockheed! #marvel #excalibur
