We've been spending the week in Walberswick, Suffolk. Every morning I've gone for a walk around the beach , harbour, marshes & heathlands. And every morning I've seen the hardy group of Swimmers who swim in the sea every day . Sometimes they will be greeted by beautiful sunrises. Other days no so.

Drove down to Bath this morning , seeing family. Stopped off at #SilburyHill which is one of my favourite places, always try & stop there on a drive down. It isn't always surrounded by water.

We’re probably three weeks from Gregg Wallace either getting a column in The Sun or running in a by-election as a Reform candidate. Or both.

In the summer , I ordered an ice coffee & they brought the ice up from the basement, when the person bringing the ice came through the door, I announced "The Iceman cometh " , to silence from the restaurant. I don't think I'll ever recover.

@channel4news.bsky.social I just watched the interview with John Smyth's son. It was a remarkable interview , utterly heartbreaking.

Jeremy Clarkson bought a farm , he said it was to dodge inheritance tax . Most people weren't aware until then that farmers didn't pay tax on their estates. Then he gives it large & now farmers will be paying tax . It's basically Clarkson's fault . Farmers should be shaking their fists at him.
