The peptide D-I-C-K generated in an alpha-turn conformation, displayed as sticks, carbon atoms are free, nitrogen dark blue, sulfur yellow, and oxygen red. The N- and C-termini are protonated and protonated respectively. The side chain of the lysine residue is also protonated. Only polar hydrogen atoms are displayed as white sticks.
