Tomorrow, on Live with Tim O'Reilly, I'll be talking with Arvind Narayanan of Princeton about his notion that AI is a "normal technology" rather than the beginning of an unprecedented singularity.

Wildfire season starts in May. Trump just fired 3,400 Forest Service workers.

...Does he plan to "rake" the forests himself?

Last night: Trump says he won't cut Medicaid.

Today: Trump supports House Republicans' plan to cut over $880 billion in spending for Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.

Trump has once again gone back on his word – betraying the needs of the American people in the process.

I just wrote a piece on why I think the chatter about AI putting programmers out of work is wrong. Every time it gets easier to tell computers what we want them to do, it brings more people into the fold and unleashes a wave of creativity and creative destruction. That reads like opportunity to me.

▪️ No more business as usual.

▪️ Vote NO on every Trump nominee.

▪️ Force Republicans to fight for every single vote.

▪️ Shut down the Senate.

Once again, Donald Trump is lying and appears to have no interest in telling the truth about CA water.

Some of these photos are from last spring when I toured a floating solar project funded through the Inflation Reduction Act. I confirmed with former Reclamation officials myself.
Pres. Trump posted old pictures on Truth Social claiming to show California aqueducts “brimming” with water thanks to action he took after the Los Angeles fires. However at least two of the photos were taken almost a year ago. CBS News has asked the White House for comment. Here's what we know.
