Gave Zed the old college try but it just doesn't feel polished. Back in Cursor. If I cancelled Cursor right now, I would just move back to VSCode. As much as I wanted to like it, it was too wonky for use.

I’ve been using Claude/Cursor in a pair programming model. set the overall goal, create a plan, then iterate and review over each step.

Even then, I don’t really trust it. It’s been quite an enabler but I have to review everything.
