So, Angus Reid polled on that question, too. Here's a snap of one of their graphics.

About 60 per cent of ppl surveyed want fewer public dollars going to independent schools. But about 35 per cent of respondents wanted to eliminate all public funding. #AbLeg #AbEd

This is the first publicly released polling on Alberta education issues from a professional pollster in a while, and the results are super interesting.

ARI poll suggests contract dispute support for teachers: 58%
Support for AB govt: 21 %
Neither: 18 % #AbLeg #AbEd

We are getting close to 300,000 signatures and there are only 16 days left.

Some big bombshells in our new episode with Dr Paul Parks!

Including that Danielle Smith was warned by many experts her healthcare "refocusing" would only make healthcare in Alberta much, much worse!

Yesterday they were shooting priests in the head with rubber bullets. Today they're arresting journalists. If you have anyone in your life who doesn't regularly follow the news and doesn't understand how bad things are and how bad they're about to get, you need to tell them right now. Time is short.

Under Nazi rule, clergy who refused to support the regime were surveilled, arrested, assaulted, and in some cases, executed. The Nazis publicly aligned themselves with Christian values while targeting religious figures who defended the vulnerable or spoke against state violence.

Calgary teacher Alicia Taylor says she brought it forward because it could help improve funding for public schools. #AbEd

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

WOW!

Alberta just got another approved referendum petition!

And this one calls for the practice of funding private schools with public money to be put to an end!

During the teachers strike!

Strap in Alberta, we’re going on a ride!

Not another penny of taxpayer's money should go to private schools until our public school system is fairly funded.

Alberta is one of the richest places in the world. It is political malpractice that our public education system has been left to rot this way.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith posted a photo of a child in a crowd holding up a sign saying "My Sober Parents" on social media platforms this week.

The caption said his parents were "lost to addiction."

The kid's mom says the post was "completely false" and the premier "used my son for clicks":

After cutting his mic, telling him his question about Alberta's teacher strike didn't make sense and that his parents should spank him, Premier Danielle Smith's executive director Bruce McAllister apologized in a post on X to 17-year-old Evan Li.

Li wants a direct apology.

Witnessed a kindergarten class with 35 kids, 8 with special needs & 1 who doesn't speak English yet

And only one teacher

I would strike too if that was my job
