An imbalance between rich and poor is the oldest and most fatal ailment of all republics. - Plutarch

We all do better when we all do better. Former MN Senator Paul Wellstone
Republicans: just can’t trust ‘em to look out for everyday Americans. They aren’t even looking out for their own political supporters.
Can someone please ask him how the GOP changed the 60 vote threshold twice in the last two months to approve 150+ trump appointees in one go? Cuz they are in charge and can change the rules to open the government. And they know it. They WANT the shutdown.
Mike Johnson: "Democrats are required to open the government. They keep saying, 'Republicans are in charge of government.' We aren't!"

“We all do better when we all do better.” Fairness to build opportunity and reward honesty. That’s what Wellstone’s words mean to me. Something @democrats.org are fighting for now as Republicans plot to make health care under the ACA unaffordable for working Americans.
We remember today the words of Minn. Senator Paul Wellstone who said “we all do better when we all do better” and, who along with his wife, Sheila and their daughter Marcia died tragically in a plane crash near Eveleth, MN on Oct. 25, 2002. Five others also died.

Congressman Dave Taylor (R) of Ohio loves him some Nazi memorabilia with this desecrated American flag in his office. Well, at least they’re no longer denying their heritage those fascist Republicans!

If Democrats stick together in the government funding fight, they can block and even roll back Trump’s cruel healthcare cuts and power grabs. That’s why it’s so important to speak up now: let your Democratic members of Congress hear from you. app.sosha.ai/s/Pk0gGsc6

A friendly reminder that Wisconsin Democrats prioritize kids and families. In May, my Senator joined other Democrats to introduce a bill to make up for the MAJOR cuts Republicans made to child care funding. Read more here: wisconsinexaminer.com/2025/05/23/d...

Just saw Trump struggle to pronounce Acetaminophen. Not only is he becoming increasingly erratic and less lucid, he’s not even good at slamming a long-time safe drug. See an article in Reuters today:

There is no firm evidence of a link between the use of the drug and autism.
