I witnessed this happening in slow motion, but it’s now on full speed ahead. AI, and especially, google search AI is killing the web content business, as users can find info without visiting pages. Page views have bottomed out while AI sucks info from content providers.

People are saying how Canadians and Europeans may stop visiting the USA. Sorry to say, it’s already happened. The bad news for Americans is as time goes by your country worsens, turning off any potential tourism that may have remained.

Since Canada is planning a large increase in military spending, might I suggest they invest in a billion dollars of new drone technology, both air and marine based, and staff the drone forces with young 20-30 year olds who are trained to control, program, and maintain the hardware.

Seeing National Guard members bedding down on a hot concrete floor in LA reminds me of times my military made me rest my body in a hot, abandoned school house or a muddy soccer field. In all cases we had cold beer on hand. I feel for those soldiers, and know their CIC doesn’t give 2 shits for them.

Have completely migrated web properties and domain registrations to Canadian providers. Last year, my web business spent approximately 8k with US companies. This year, it will be a small fraction of that amount, and next year it will be $0.00. So far, Canadian companies have proven 2B superior.

As I manage several dozen websites and domain names, I have pledged to move everything to Canadian (and International) service providers. I am working hard toward fully canceling my business connections with the USA.

Watching the USA decline is sad. The level of dumb is astounding. History has shown that isolating a country to achieve prosperity is a failing gambit. Many will suffer for the sake of dumb.

Trump randomly talking about tariffs and how the “bad”. countries had taken advantage of the USA went on for an hour. Does anyone think this is a good way to run a country? It seems like it might play better to a bunch of drunks at a dive bar. A country needs a statesman, not a rambling nincompoop.

If you are Canadian, you should not be watching the Super Bowl. The FOX broadcast will feature an interview with Trump, and you can be sure he will promote his plans to make the USA into a Trump-led dictatorship. Of course, he plans to make Canada part of his realm. Canada needs to boycott.
