Wrote about this a while back:

"Women in the upper echelons of the cult are expected to take up various supportive roles, from participating in Republican raunch culture to pushing tradwife content, to having a certain look that skews plastic glam."

I don't think @democrats.senate.gov understand how angry Dems and Independent voters are at them. Some of the kindest people I know are 110% furious.

Any Senate Dem who votes for this will be primary-challenged. Likely by someone seeking revenge as much as they are change.

The emerging deal would include a stopgap measure to extend government funding until January and be tied to a larger package to fully fund several key agencies.

"Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents. They’ve had their necks kneeled on. They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear."

More Than 170 U.S. Citizens Have Been Held by Immigration Agents. They’ve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days.
The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

"I didn't vote for this."

My friend, they are doing everything they said they would do. Full stop.

If you genuinely feel you were paying attention but didn't know this is what they planned, then the way you receive news and information is harming you and you should change that ASAP.

In June, CT published an article about ICE agents going after persecuted Christians who had fled to the US. A lot of folks were asking "How can evangelicals be okay with this?" as many do when the Trump Administration acts against a "top" evangelical priority.

"Back in April, the NAHB estimated that tariffs were adding about $10,900 to the cost of building a typical new home...and nearly 75% of American households can’t afford a median-priced new home."

The so-called "pro-family" party seems to really hate families.
Trump’s new tariffs will slam America’s already brutal housing crisis
October’s “kitchen cabinet” tax will affect homebuyers and renters alike.

Recently finished a rewatch of #RingsofPower and I appreciated it a lot more. I'm not a lore purist on books-to-screens adaptations so the liberties taken don't bug me.

I think my one difficulty is the Harfoot-Gandalf storyline.

I have a feeling this is what the looming National Guard deployment to #Memphis, my home, is really all about.

For such a wordy memoranda this “plan” is very light on actual details. But I suppose that’s the point.

What an exhausting time to be alive.
Trump: "Maybe I'll be the first to say it right now -- we're going to Memphis. Memphis is deeply troubled. The mayor is happy. He's a Democrat. And the gov is happy. We're gonna fix that just like we did DC. I would've preferred going to Chicago ... we'll bring in the military too if we need it."
