Omg I’m glad they told you. I got thrown for a LOOP last week. Sore arm, fever, loopy for 48 hrs. (But of course worth it.)
for those (like me) unfamiliar with AFP Fact Check, it's a department within Agence France-Presse, a multilingual news agency guaranteed independence under French law. (yeah, I know we have the First Amendment here in the USA. um.)
A terrific AFP fact check uses reverse image searches to expose how a White House video took scenes from Florida, Texas, South Carolina and Nebraska and lied that they showed "Chicago is in chaos."

the NFL cashmere collection contains NO PACKERS merch. maybe they’re worried we’d just get CHEESE on it. naadam.co/collections/...
Jenni, I’m sorry! Would be delighted to discuss my love for my queer shul, with its Jewish joy, textual cluefulness, glorious singing and gazillion-front advocacy work!

Apologies given with intention are acts of love. Apologies accepted well are acts of grace. Asking for an apology when you feel one is owed is an act of trust. (And maybe the hardest of all.) thank you, @marjorieingall.bsky.social @sorrywatch.bsky.social

Brad, thank you for being there for ALL our neighbors. This is horrific.
Sharing bc it’s helpful even tho it is dated in two ways (& feel free to guess which): The SCIENCE of honey cake and why it is so often disgusting! (sorry, I don’t mean YOUR honeycake) (yes I do) www.tabletmag.com/sections/new...
Here’s the World’s Best Honey Cake, According to Science
Supposedly the best honey cake in the history of the universe. We’ll see.

no offends if this is you but if you're thinking "this is going to make the right do fascism" they're already there. they blew up a boat with 11 people on it for being immigrants. they're kidnapping US citizens and trying to rendition them to Uganda. do you think we're on a trajectory to peace

We cannot condone political violence.

That said, it’s important to remember that Republicans have demanded that the Second Amendment be interpreted to mean anyone who wants a gun can get one, including assault weapons.

As Charlie Kirk recognized, that comes with a downside.
Wait who we mad at and why? I want in

Here's something I post from time to time. My answer to a reader who asked me: what could journalists do NOW to break with some of their more corrosive habits.
I thought kaos and chah-ohs were synonyms.
I just called the pharmacy to refill a prescription and ended the call with "thank you" and the pharmacist replied, "love you!" and hung up and in case she's spiraling rn I want her to know we've all been there
