I want to send holiday/Christmas cards again this year I think!!

If we're mutuals please leave a comment here and I'll get back to you in a few weeks for your address. Any country, no need to reciprocate, not strictly Xmas-themed unless I know you're into it x

To be fair though, having worked for a handful of nationals, this checks out
So the place was busy and everything looked BAU when we went on a whim yesterday with our MA passes - but British Library PCS staff are actually on strike until next week. I've just donated to the PCS strike fund: www.pcs.org.uk/donate

I'm hearing reports that it's advent calendar purchasing szn
Also this late 15th-century guy in the Treasures gallery had no reason to be this caked up?
Secret Maps at the BL has loads of interesting things but my god it's a long one - I hit museum fatigue at the textbook 45-minute mark and we were only like 2/3 in. Try going at the beginning of your day imo
I refuse to perceive it actually
I'm a fan of thinking of something they like and then sending different kinds of it - chocolate, sweets, tea, tiny jams or honey, perfume samples, pens, bougie travel soaps, nail polishes and decals, whatever. Something for them to try over the coming days and weeks and update me on their faves
Not me going to a very early American Thanksgiving dinner (host, American, will be out of town later) and expecting things I've seen in movies but know don't actually exist, such as marshmallow on sweet potato
Lisa Eldridge made a 90s neutral beige lipstick that doesn't make me look like a Dickensian orphan 🥹

Thread of exhibitions I saw in October which are still on - a short one this month due to holiday and then injury, but like I've said before, these are just to give art shows a modicum of visibility on this app
A thread of exhibitions I've seen which are still on - reposting some August ones as I crammed 5-6 now-closed shows in September and the new season has barely started
I'm going to be the change I want to see, so: London museum and gallery exhibitions I saw in August which I believe are still on, a thread
I just got out of exercise class and I can't tell whether you're joking
Jimin popping in to demonstrate the purpose of in-ear monitors lol
If that hasn't put you off niche perfumery yet there's another sample in here that's labelled "gummy bear barf", which I will be trying on Sunday probably
ok aside from the first whiff which to be fair is on me - the standfirst or whatever on that label was a true "dead dove do not eat" - the real horror is that the dirty patchouli mid/base note is just not washing off
My monthly perfume sample packs arrived a little late this month and it's horror-themed and oh my god lmao I'm gonna try it on now
