My first Taylor album. Not particularly impressed. The writing was good (except for the Scarlet Letter reference), the music and singing mediocre. But I know I will have more opportunities to listen and will reserve judgment.

Finished book 64 in 2025 (99/1000). I’m glad I gave Norton a try. This is the series she is known for and it was a well-written story that danced between SFF pulp and just SFF. I’ll read more of this series.

Yesterday I got an email from my indie bookstore saying two orders came in. Both are books written by friends. @katinoxford.bsky.social @vox-magica.bsky.social

My publisher’s been very patient. I’m not doing everything I said I’d do to promote this book (out in a few weeks) because I’m an organizer in a city under federal attack. My days are full and emotionally exhausting. Any help getting the word out means a lot. It's a book people need right now.
