We applied the recently developed mesoscale field theory of quasicrystals to the study dislocations in aperiodic lattices. We found relevant differences with crystalline counterparts and delivered a versatile tool to study such dislocations! ⬇️ @luizaangheluta.bsky.social @tudresden.bsky.social

Thanks everyone for the immense interest and great feedback on our preprint! We are super happy (and a bit shocked) that a simple project developed among friends had such a resonance ending up in the New York Times and BBC!
