Kaleidoscope (one term for a group of butterflies) is another new painting from my Finding Joy solo show at Blue Door Gallery in York. Every year, millions of monarchs migrate south in early September, sometimes traveling 3,000 miles to reach the forests of central Mexico.

And I'm not sure you need that level of protection. I think it's fine to have an open window with a window fan set to move the air outside. As with oil or acrylic paint, the most dangerous paints are those with cadmium so avoid those if you can or be sure to be ventilating when you are using them.
