I noticed but wasn’t going to say anything lol - reading posts & internally autocorrecting typos of correctly spelled words to the actual intended word is a normal thing everyone does, right? I only have trouble when it’s my MiL bc her texting is so atrocious it takes serious sleuthing sometimes lol

Oh for sure, I applaud the show for making me actually feel a tinge of sympathy for her - her relationship was very unhealthy and Adam deserved what he got, and she is NOT handling it well - even the characters I loathe feel human and real, so kudos to them for that!

Everything abt Hazbin’s themes is antithetical to right wing evangelicalism, so this person has Olympic level compartmentalization skills to like a show like Hazbin & not register the very harsh criticism it’s throwing their way & rethink their beliefs as a result. Media illiteracy 🤦🏽‍♀️

Right‽ Adam’s death is the direct result of Hell finally fighting back; Heaven should be relieved Charlie wants peace and not her own “eye for an eye” justice for the exterminations. Vox on the other hand… well I’m hyped for this season to see how these three sides we’re seeing so far play out.

Oct 13: It’s hard to pick a fave!

“Poison” hit so hard the first time I heard it; I was speechless & in tears. It has to be my pick bc it’s what hooked me into the show and proved to me its substance.

But there’s not a bad song in the bunch & I cannot wait for the many we’re about to get in s2!

Um. Wow. Growing up how I was raised, we called it a harvest festival, but you know since we weren’t farmers & didn’t harvest anything, everyone knew it was an excuse to have Halloween without endorsing “witchcraft”… I didn’t think it could get more ridiculous but I have been proven wrong. Again. 🤦🏽‍♀️

That makes sense! I feel like the first chapter would be not applicable, then, and others would be whatever they are.

I know some folks care about dynamics and aren’t trolls about it, and I think it’s kind that authors are so considerate about tags in general. It’s the trolls I take issue with.

To that end, I certainly don’t think you’d need to HC which they are in your story’s universe so you can tag it anyway if it doesn’t actually factor into the story. But what do I know? I personally don’t really care who tops in fics and can’t say if trolls would pester one way or the other anyhow.

I feel like you don’t have to have a top/bottom or D/s dynamic in a fic. Sometimes there might be undertones, but if it’s a handjob or other nonpenetrative act with no discussing those things, there’s no identifiable top or bottom, right? And if there’s no hint of kink, D/s doesn’t apply either imo.
