According to a leaked Ubisoft document, Farah will be an invincible companion, unlike the original where enemies could kill her. It also stated that there are no plans to make her playable.

Heh, GOG re-released Cold Fear all patched, fixed and compatible with modern systems. Below average Resi clone from the 6th gen, but not a terrible time; plus, yay for preservation. Less yay for the 15 Euro price, but whatever, seen worse.

As a side note, I'd been playing TW3 in Japanese for immersion, but it felt off? It's odd, because KCD felt fine in Japanese, so it's not so much a matter of setting. Pity, because some performances are better than their English counterparts, including Geralt himself.

After about 20 hours in Witcher 3, getting to Novigrad, tolerating the misery that is Death March in the early game, I have made the executive decision to stip playing, re-read all the books and re-play all the games from scratch.

Okay, so Vermintide 2 is free to claim on Steam. I already had the game, but thought I'd give it another spin and maybe buy the career DLC.

Okay, so Vermintide 2 is free to claim on Steam. I already had the game, but thought I'd give it another spin and maybe buy the career DLC.

I find these remasters ugly personally, but if you're interested in them, the new GMG Bundle has the Tomb Raider, Soul Reaver, Turok 3 and Shadowman remasters, as well as Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition for 17 Euros. Also, Stubb the Zombie. It's an admittedly great deal.

I find these remasters ugly personally, but if you're interested in them, the new GMG Bundle has the Tomb Raider, Soul Reaver, Turok 3 and Shadowman remasters, as well as Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition for 17 Euros. Also, Stubb the Zombie. It's an admittedly great deal.
On the flipside of games preservation, I just realized that a bunch of Psikyo shumps were removed from Steam at the end of October, because the licensing agreement expired. So, this is a good reminder that the only viable route for older games is emulation, no matter how many re-releases you see.

I realized I hadn't played the Witcher 3 expansions, so I'm replaying the entire game from the start, as you do and I gotta be honest: I wish I had the time to re-read those books before playing this. You can't imagine just how much better they make the game.

Oh that's good, I was afraid the game was abandoned. I still think the game needs a "classic mode" that reverts some of the gameplay systems that seem to exist for the sake of existing, but this is still good.

I've been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance with JP audio for language immersion purposes and I can't find *any* information on the cast and it's driving me insane. I'm pretty positive Divish here is voiced by Hidekatsu Shibata, who voiced King Bradley in Fullmetal Alchemist.
By the by, it's also 0.99 on Steam and it seems to be a permanent price drop instead of a sale.

So anyway, in Ninja Gaiden 1 level 4, there's this part with enemies shooting from afar and you're supposed to reach them by shimming across pipes, but when you get to them another 2 spawns behind you, but if you kill those, the first 2 respawn and anyway I'm just saying I want the world to burn.
