So long as berube and treliving get fired by the end of the year, I'm happy. Worst coach-gm pair since nonis and carlyle, and might even be worse then that pair, with how far they destroyed this team. Shanahan deserves blame here, too.

If you think about it, nylander flipping off the media was a giga-brain play. Nobody is talking about how ass the leafs played in last nights game, instead the focus is on him. His teammates should thank him for this.

I don't say this too often anymore, but the refs handed vegas that W by not calling interference on Hill. Leafs didn't do themselves any favours either, but that was the decider right there. Plus, shitty shot choice by Mo, imo.

I've really warmed up to Scott Laughton over the past month or so. Hard to say if he was worth the package we gave up for him yet, but it certainly looks better now than in may.

That goal may look like a lazy effort by the leafs, but all I see is uncertainty in how to move. The main problem is that the players don't know what they need to do to win. Again, a systems/coaching problem. Not just one or a few guys.

The leafs did not stay the course on their vision, and this is the consequence of their foolishness. If only somebody within the organization or MLSE (not coach or GM) were to figure this out and demand changes to reorient this team in the right direction.

Like, even if they want to keep sucking berube's dick, the least they can do is fire Savard and lalonde, both are unquestionably dreadful assistants.

Here’s the thing about the leafs: I know for a fact that the players damn care a lot about what’s happening right now. I don’t buy for a second they don’t, not when being embarrassed almost every game. That means it is either a personnel or coaching problem. Definitely feels like the latter to me.
