Seven EP is 28!
Today marks 28 years since the release of Mansun's Seven EP. Available as a limited 7" and 2 CD set, Seven EP featured an array of quality b-sides.
Lead single, "Closed For Business," entered the UK Singles Chart at #10, the band's second career top ten hit.

Happy 21st Anniversary to Mansun's fourth and final album, 'Kleptomania'.
This posthumous triple CD boxset, packed with planned new material, outtakes, and demos, was originally shelved by the record company, but a fan petition with over 4000 signatures brought it to fruition.

Manson at 30!
Take It Easy Chicken, the very first ‘Mansun’ 7” single, under the original Manson name, was released this day in 1995. It was limited to 1000 copies on the band’s DIY label Sci Fi Hi Fi Recordings along side a rarer silver label promo that is now a highly sought after collectors item.

Slipping Away Anniversary!
On September 20, 2004, Mansun released their final single 'Slipping Away'.
A poignant farewell to the charts, the 7" vinyl and promo CD promoted the band's final album, 'Kleptomania'.

Three EP is 29!
Released on 7" clear vinyl and a two-part CD set, 'Stripper Vicar' was Mansun's first Top 20 entry, peaking at #19.
Shot at Llanthony Priory, Monmouthshire, the music video featured the band with Julian Fenton on drums and a shirtless appearance from Stove.

27 years ago today, Mansun made their epic return with their groundbreaking second album, 'Six'.
Noted for its daring, experimental, and prog rock sound, 'Six' entered the UK Albums Chart at #6.
Four singles were released from Six, including their highest chart entry, Legacy.

On this day in 2020, Mansun's 'The Dead Flowers Reject' was released on white vinyl for Record Store Day.
Recorded at the same time as their second album, Six, it was intended as a backup in case the record label rejected the band's 1998 cult classic.

Being A Girl (Part One) was the second release from 'Six' and edited to just two minutes. Released on a variety of formats, Being A Girl entered the UK Charts inside the top 20, reaching #13.

Legacy entered the Top 10 of the UK Official Chart reaching #7, their highest chart position.
The music video was directed by Mike Mills and portrays the band as puppets capturing the highs and lows of the music business.
