Game #4 of 2025: Animal Well

I didn’t totally get it at first, but it really hooked me after a couple hours. Lots of fun puzzles to solve and things to discover and my god did the last area make my skin crawl. Really wanna go back and find everything I missed at some point 🎮
Game #3 of 2025: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Hoo boy 7 year old me was screaming with joy for 16 hours 😭 I’m so happy I got to play a Ratchet & Clank game in 2025 and it lived up to the legacy of the series I grew up with. Gorgeous af and I loved Rivet so much. Please give me more of this.
Game #2 of 2025: Dredge

Finally got around to it and it lived up to the hype. Fishing minigames + unspeakable horrors is a combination I can get behind.
Game #1 of 2025: Solar Ash

Such an incredible game. Really interesting world, feels like a game that could’ve existed in the ps2 era if the technology had been there. Speedy 3D platforming meets Shadow of the Colossus style boss fights.
Steam spring sale my beloved, gonna get caught up on some games I’ve wanted to play for awhile. I’ve already put 7 hours into Ratchet & Clank and my inner child is ecstatic 🎮
Finally watched #ISawTheTVGlow today and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same
I know everyone liked inFamous 2 better (myself included) but I still think Second Son was really fun and had some of my favorite powers in the series (neon powers go brrr) and I would kill for another one of these games.
Yeah JID never misses, I’ll listen to the Forever Story front to back every time 😭
Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time is probably the peak of the series. The open space exploration, customizable weapons, time puzzles, and the mobility were all peak R&C gameplay.
Despite its flaws (and it has a lot) Pokémon Legends Arceus represents the future of what Pokémon games should look like in my opinion. Give me this but with the Pokédex size and combat systems of the mainline series and I couldn’t be happier.
The Outer Worlds was my favorite game the year it came out, and one of the best RPGs I’ve ever played. Peak Obsidian writing, and so much freedom to influence the world with your choices.
Zelda Windwaker still stands as my favorite Zelda game, sailing the ocean and fishing up treasure in this game brings me a sense of calm and whimsy whenever I come back to it
I probably don’t need to say it but Shadow of the Colossus is one of the greatest works of art ever made in this medium. It’s chilling and mysterious, and every fight is at once a cinematic marvel and its own unique puzzle. Anyone who hasn’t tried this game is doing themselves a disservice
Death’s Door is one of my all-time favorites. Snappy fast-paced combat, charming characters, and a grim yet rich world worth exploring every inch of
Hyper Light Drifter is a brutal top-down adventure with gorgeous art, music and atmosphere, in a fascinating dying world
Haiku the Robot is a cute Metroidvania with fun movement, charming robot characters, and an interesting world to explore
