Welcome to my Bsky? I do a lot of things. Mainly I post #OC #art, sometimes #3Dprinting, sometimes yap about #KamenRider or #Transformers or whatever else I like.

Lemme use this post to link to my personal About page with a buncha relevant links: malunis.wikidot.com/about

Longtime fan of Celie but I love the vibe of Lotta these days
In a way, trying out clay like this is a vague first step to sculpting 3D art...
I feel it was an unexpected success that I was able to translate this hairstyle to 3D, because I always thought of it like "This seems like it doesn't make sense at any angle" - now I have a good feel for how to draw it at the side and back!
So this is the result of trying out cheap-ass Play-Doh air dry clay to make Chacha in 3D. Intentionally basic shapes since this stuff isn't good for detailing, just getting a feel for sculpting. Stuff's so bad for this that the head was drooping as I took photos lol

Everything is subjective, so depending where you're getting the opinions you may get a very different perspective. The folks I've seen playing the new game in the servers I lurk, they all seem to think this game is a huge improvement over the mainline Pokemon games.
COOL the power was turned back on while I was out on a walk, we back baybeee
Ah... spent yesterday feeling tired and unproductive after running errands, now dealing with a power outage estimated to be restored by 10pm. Only able to share thanks to phone data. Hope to get back to drawing soon...
If nothing else, would be neat to see some merch dabbling, like stickers for various characters, or acrylic standees like some artists have tried out - idk where to go to get that ball rolling but I'd love to see it happen

Love that visual in Kamen Rider Zeztz's first episode.
Okay people have already made the JoJo jokes but here's a 15 year old in JoJo lol
Adding onto this, it should probably be noted she also feels this way about her mouth (intentionally drawn to be a bit off), but she can't hide that one so easily. Also I like drawing it.
Having looked into it, it seems like it'd be worth trying out polymer clay, like proper bake-in-oven type of clay.

Be neat to 3D-ify some OC designs.
I think it's neat, but it's like trying to sculpt with marshmallow, like, literally. This stuff is soft easy to accidentally misshapen, and it's gonna end up sagging while it's being left out to dry for 24-48 hours. Worthwhile experiment ig but I may try something different.
To make a long story short, I ended up buying one of those crazy cheap lumps of Play-Doh air dry clay for a different reason but decided I'd try out sculpting with it, and-- wow this stuff is not good for what I wanna do lmao
Some facts about Chacha:

- Wears a lot of eye makeup (You probably knew that one)
- Dyes hair
- Hides the left eye
- Feels shy about being seen without any one of these

(I think she just woke up here)

"Nella, this seems more like something YOU would wear - why the fuck am I doing this?"

Thought about doing a pic series similar to the beach one, with OCs dressed for Halloween. Bit non-canon for fantasy characters. But Chacha wears Roxanne Wolf well!

Even so, the unfortunate thing about it is that you can hear the age in voice actors on The Simpsons, which makes sense because it has run for 30+ seasons at this point, and you're getting that in Futurama with only 1/3 of that length because it Kept Getting Cancelled
Been catching up on Futurama - the first Hulu season was okay, but I found it sad that I could start to hear the age in some voice actors' performances - that said, they're sounding better in these later seasons! Maybe it was Covid at the time and/or they just needed to get back in the groove.
Two videos in and you're off to a good start with your writing and editing, looking forward to what else you create!
