I wanted a flock without keyframing every single bird. Here I made an automatic flock setup in #Blender Geometry Nodes.
Quick and easy, many controls from a gentle flock to a chaotic swarm. Birds are #greasepencil animated frame by frame.

why not both? I use a PC with a Cintiq, but with the Mac is the same. Best thing to do with a cintiq in Blender is to set up the 2 buttons as right and middle click, and you don't need the mouse to do 90% of stuff.

#blender lacks a way to transfer weights from mesh to #greasepencil. I've developed an addon that does that. Now you can easily drive Grease Pencil strokes with an existing #3D animation. Draw on the rest pose or on the animated mesh, the addon will reposition the strokes. I'll publish it soon.
