My Best Friend (2018)
A sweet lonely sheltered boy & a bad boy hardened by the world who has never had anyone show him genuine care or love. The bond they have is great but the realities of life make this a bittersweet moment. This really shows a love one can have for another in a companionship way.

A mostly satisfying little wartime romance movie. Unusual ending, some sad parts about not being able to be with the one you love.

Sauvage (2018)

Very interesting movie about a homeless escort, his struggles with addiction and being loved. Really shows the anxiety we can face about letting people closer to us but also longing for more. Must watch.

Sublime (2022)

Very musical coming of age movie, centred on two best friends in a band together, with one developing feelings for the other. Very mature movie, very grounded except for maybe the last few seconds. Nice watch.

Four Moons (2014)

4 different stories in 1 movie, a couple where the husband won’t stop cheating, two best friends discovering they love each other, an old poet wanting to try gay sex & a young boy curious about his sexuality. Really good movie, stories had me engrossed. A must watch.

Ang Pagdadalaga Ni Maximo Oliveros/The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros (2005)

A coming of age film about a young feminine gay boy, which was really engrossing by the fact he wasn’t ashamed & had a completely supportive family made up of all tough-guy males. Refreshing really.
