ELP’s “Karn Evil 9 3rd Impression” will always be a banger to me.
I am particularly taken by the lines “No man yields who flies in my ship” and “Let the bridge computer speak”. Very futuristic and spacey.

Having a chronic condition can really take the life out of you…
The partial incontinence, funny enough, I can deal with. I’m in a diaper 99% of the time. It got this.

Started the process of replacing one of my major credit cards. It’s gotten a little easier, with the advent of mobile wallets, and the CC companies allowing recurring charges to go through.
But, it’s still a process (I *really* don’t need right now) to update everything and remember a new number.

I think, despite all the stress and ridiculousness of this job—the nature of which I’ve shared in countless Tweets and Skeets over the years—what will really stick with me from this time is how unfair it has been to be in a position to never get ahead, to always be cleaning up others messes…

I hate to be that ray of sunshine, but folks getting excited by the Epstein vote should probably manage their expectations. This vote very likely would not have gone ahead without the fix already being in. Whether it’s the fix they think it is… 🤷🏻♂️

Best system that I’ve seen so far from any artist is when they opened commissions (YCHs, but still) and you just signed up. And they got to you when they got to you, instead of filling up and closing a list that was always populated by the 10, chronically-online regulars.
