and i cannot stress that last part enough: if you donate $20 to a twitch streamer using the website’s in-house system, they only get $10. a youtuber would get $14, which is better but still insane compared to streamlabs which gives you 100% minus a small paypal fee.

psa for people wanting to support livestreamers: if someone has a streamlabs link and if you have a paypal, please use that instead of bits/superchats. i’ve got a couple hundred bucks on youtube i kinda need, partly from supers, and i gotta wait until the 21st for the payout. also they take 30 - 50%

do people not know you're supposed to make sure your songs don't peak above 0db when you export them??? the amount of music posted to youtube that gets its dynamics robbed from being auto-normalized down to 0 is insane and doesn't usually happen with my music.
