Cameron David, a personal trainer in the Lower Mainland, and his friend, a handyman also named Cameron, have started their own #HackingForTheHolidays fundraising page and pledged to run a kilometre each for every $50 raised, with the goal of raising $2,000 and running 40 km.

Our friends at PrintLab and Autodesk have launched the 2026 Make:able Challenge, this year with an exciting new open-source twist.

Make:able is a design challenge where students, makers and professionals work to solve everyday challenges faced by people with disabilities and the elderly.

Earlier this month, we did a #HackingForTheHolidays build with the FIRST Robotics Cyber Eagles team in Sherwood Park. Thanks to Dow Canada for purchasing the toys for the build. In all, 15 paint spinners were built & 13 Bluey toys were adapted, all to be donated to local children with disabilities.

One of my favourite classes today! We had the Neil Squire Society visiting and adapted toys for kids with disabilities so that they can be used with adaptive switches. These toys go to the IWK Halifax and other places and then get distributed to kids with disabilities just in time for Christmas ❤️

When students at Gretna Green School learned they would be building switches for kids with disabilities for our Hacking for the Holidays campaign, they felt inspired to take it one step further, taking the initiative to raise over $500 for our campaign.

We're proud to support the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC’s Gamers Club initiative, bringing accessible gaming to people with cerebral palsy in BC. Accessible Gaming Lead Tyler Fentie conducted assessments for participants, while Clubs That Care volunteers donated devices.

At École Madeleine Bergeron, a specialized school in Quebec City that serves over 120 students with disabilities from across eastern Quebec, student makers in the Adapta3D program build devices for their fellow students and staff.
