Highlight from Day 3 yesterday of our Secondary Breast Cancer Patient Summit was a fantastic role-play session on Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) that gave a real insight into good practice.
"Supportive care has evolved to meet the survivorship needs of patients living with treatable, but not curable, cancer."

Day 2 of our Secondary Breast Cancer Patient Summit in Liverpool kicks off with a refreshing & honest talk about palliative care from Dr Daniel Monnery from @cccnhs.bsky.social

On the 2nd of every month, we highlight the signs & symptoms of secondary breast cancer. A recent study by GenesisCare found that 72% of breast cancer survivors did not know where in the body secondary breast cancer could appear. Please seek medical advice if you have any concerns. #2ndsonthe2nd
Hello May! It's a new month & time to #feelitonthefirst!

It's really important that you check your breasts & breast area every month so that you know what your 'normal' is & what isn't. Talk to your GP if you notice any of these symptoms & please share so that more people are aware ⏬
