The dog is looking at me like she's waiting to go out. I told her I've had a long day and just want to rest for a bit before taking her out but her vocabulary is quite limited and she has no sense of grammar so i doubt she understood.

I recently bought Vampire Survivors for the Meta Quest because im a sucker with more money than sense. It's just the normal 2D game played on a large virtual screen in a VR room. I still love the game though.

When i was younger i used to love D&D style console RPG games but as i have gotten older i have become less and less arsed talking to NPCs about whatever exposition they've got. Just point me at the monster and let me go kill it. That's why i love Doom.

Im reading #Metro2033 recently and have been really enjoying it. I quite like the games and they do capture the feel of the book somewhat, but the books are a so much more immersive experience.

I feel a lot happier today than yesterday. Partly because it's Friday of course but also the Europa League result last night. I know it's foolish to let the results of a sports fixture affect your mood but I'm a fool so ... #nffc

Ok. I didn't want to say much until i'd heard it a few times because first impressions aren't worth much, but now ive had a while to let it sink in I'm gonna say that I really like #TheLifeOfAShowgirl . The first 3 tracks are great - maybe her most consistent first three since Reputation.

Ok. I just had a chance to listen to it. First impressions are that Elizabeth Taylor, Actually Romantic, Wood, and The Life of a Showgirl really stand out to me. I'm looking forward to delving deeper into it.
