I learned my best lessons about being a man from doing it badly, then changing and revising. I do it very well now.

Empathy and vulnerability, but under it a clear sense of FAFO toward bullies. I'm really nice until....

That's good. The main lessons I learned from the women in my life, ex, mother, sister, daughter, are how to avoid passive/aggressive manipulators. And, I suck at picking partners.

Otoh, I did not particularly learn better lessons from most of the men in my life. Fight first, talk later, never cry.

But he's teaching us how to be men! Real men, who whine, simper, and dress like..... well..... you said it.

I don't think he is physically back. But his influence here is painful. I meet people who love him daily.

It's dated December 2024.

Seems he is kind of back:

I was totally in lust with Markie Post. Second to Sigourney Weaver in my young adult fantasies.

Hey Americans? Your president is the laughing stock of the rest of the liberal democracies. How does it feel to be a joke?

You used to be the scariest nation in the world and we all had to suck up. Now? We can just laugh as your economy implodes, you lose all credibility in foreign affairs...

How did you both fitting there?

Interesting. I have been focusing on Canadian history lately, although I have also read quite a lot about our collective history, especially issues of the formation of NATO.

Thank you. That is a great quote, and I will look up Salvemini.

Winter will be here soon. These people may die. -30c is not forgiving.
October 22, 2025 at 3:34 PM
Oh, please, what? Sit back and let you call all Albertans separatists? That is flat out wrong.

It further helps their cause when people from out east lump us into one giant mass. Just like easterners, individuals Albertans are unique.

Are you calling me a separatist?
October 5, 2025 at 3:26 AM
I live in Alberta. So I am one part of Alberta. I don't want to separate and from polling neither do the majority.

So no. The statement "Alberta does not want to be part of Canada" is false. Please don't further inflame the issue.

A caveat, as a student representative, I can not represent any other party at this time. My "party" is the RDP Student Association. But I am allowed to do some background connection so assist with this.

Bad wording. Our collection group IS opposition and potential future candidates. So we are talking to them as prep for the next election or any byelections. Hopefully, we can boot LaGrange or Stephan. We are working on it hard.
October 4, 2025 at 11:59 AM
That alone, finding the voters who are fed up even in a 70% blue city, is a huge win. We are feeding them straight to opposition candidates.
October 4, 2025 at 11:57 AM
For example, the 87 year old woman who came with 100 signatures she collected in her senior's complex and cried because she FINALLY felt heard. Our collection group has many other such stories. And I live in RED DEER, the bastion of the hard right. 100's of people have come out to sign.
October 4, 2025 at 11:56 AM
You should listen to Thomas explain it. No point me trying to rephrase his strategy. I'm not making the point well.

What I can tell you is that my group collecting signatures has amazing stories of people who have never felt heard.
