Request @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com:
1: Chat should be blocked on BOTH sides when a player is ignored; not only for the one who ignores.
2: Location visibility should be OPTIONAL!
3: Add the option to FULLY opt-out on "Recent Allies" and "Quick Join"!

Yes exactly! They take away the rights from people who've been struggling with this issue - you can't do anything about it - and Blizzard doesn't act when stalking is reported. Ignore won't block people from adding your char to their list.
I can't believe there aren't more people calling alarms! 😰

With Quick Join you would have to be online simultaneously to see people pop up as an option.
But with this new activity log you won't even have to be online to see it: it's logged.
You can see when they were online. Where they logged off. All sorts of things.
And you can't opt out!

They did this with Quick Join too: if you enter a dungeon or delve with an alt, that character displays on the friends list, if someone added one of your characters on their friends list.
My friend was zoning out on an alt when a friend whispered him out of the blue, and it creeped him out.

Character adding: add someone's character on the friends list and you can see ALL. They can't for certain see it's you, just activity on your alt.
But imagine they make a lvl 1 alt with 1 character on their friends list and no guild: guess who the "allies activity" exposes?

Apparently this new feature allows ANYONE who adds you on their friends list to see, not just your recent activity on the added avatar, but also ALL of your alts! 100% doxxing and you can do 0 about it.
it defeats the point of OFFLINE on Btag completely: ANYBODY can just add you and watch you now. 😬

Blizzard is so close to real privacy control, but no cigar: Stalking isn’t handled, there’s no “Nobody” option, no control of who may add us as "friends" - and Quick Join doxxes us without consent!
Other platforms require friend approval. Please, Blizzard, let us choose who tracks us! 🙏

This hits on something I’ve grieved for years. I hope Blizzard takes it seriously: the Horde draws heavily from South-American, African, and Asian themes, and mainly they’ve been reduced to “misguided people” needing Alliance education to find the right path.
