Given the global chaos, it’s understandable news from a small island nation gets little attention. But last month at the UN, Japan firmly said it won’t recognize the Palestinian state. Apparently, it was pressured by the US and Israel. Truly a very Japanese and dumb move.

Most languages I know are just for local news 😜

Since English or Spanish are “parent tongues,” I usually subtitle from English — but the original→English can be wrong.
Sometimes I fix that first.

Old VHS with no subs? I did full audio transcription once… pure hell 🤤

Haha, yes! Please find something really obscure — maybe something that doesn’t even exist yet! 😂
Back then it truly felt like films had to cross an ocean of time before we could see them.
