That is a great picture!
I just made a similar post myself. My favourite album is Parallel Realities with Pat Metheny and Herbie Hancock.
The legendary jazz drummer Jack DeJohnette has died at age 83. My favourite album of his is the mellow Parallel Realities with Pat Metheny and Herbie Hancock. Have a listen to it in a quiet moment, and for a brief time the problems of the world will fade away

Has the NYT lost readers recently just as the Washington Post did a year ago? Their reporting is pretty toothless nowadays.
It is great entertainment so it should be attractive to the media outlets no matter which side they are on. It would be nice if that sort of outrage becomes a common occurrence.
That is some serious rage! Surely that gives those ICE people some idea about how unpopular they are with some parts of the population.
But on the positive side database management is in vogue now with the rise of AI, no?
How about choosing 'sick Americans over party'?
This thread is about Biden but, okay, Trump is a moron. He doesn't know anything about anything. Those people exist though. The real problem is that the entire Republican party support him. One delusional narcissist should not be able to rule a country but that is the situation now.
Things I didn't like about Joe Biden

His unwavering support of Israel while the killed thousands of civilians in Gaza.

His weak support of Ukraine who were allowed to hit Russian military targets only while Russia bombed Ukranian hospitals and schools

His pardoning of his son
It is oddly reassuring that MTG is back to her old delusional self.
Bolton is an awful person but he is old school and he plays by the rules. Unless they fabricate the evidence I seriously doubt they will be able to convict him of anything.
Yeah, and 40 or 50 years ago young people could attend university with good intentions (I did). However, nowadays nobody cares about 'growing intellectually' or 'satisfying your curiosity'. You (and I) are a dying race. Perhaps we will be resurrected in the future but it won't happen in my lifetime
Well, you have to remember that people who play golf think wind mills are ugly. Or at least some people who play golf. Alright, one person who plays golf.
If you are looking for the truth, you would never consult MTG. And yet here she is, again, sounding eminently reasonable 😲
Doesn't he sometimes go by train? I seem to remember reading an interview with somebody who had been responsible for arranging the security on such trips.
Is the reluctance to read mainly a problem with young people? With the emergence of AI young people will soon lose the skill and patience required to write as well.
What do you expect eight unarmed guys to do when up against three masked guys, drunk on power, with guns that they are eager to use?

Nothing will change until the so-called law enforcement has to wear ID tags.
Biggest sellout and biggest disappointment in UK politics: Nick Clegg, former leader of the Liberal Democrats, then president of global affairs at Meta, and now doing his best to serve Big Tech behind the scenes.

You beat me to it! Leather trousers, that is what real men use.
Here is a book you might want to read: The Man Who Broke Capitalism: How Jack Welch Gutted the Heartland and Crushed the Soul of Corporate America
There will always be people like that around, and if you manage to have a successful career by promoting hate and prejudice chances are you will use exactly that as a justification for the bad things you are doing: if I didn't do it, somebody else would.
I think they are just opportunists. It isn't really about political messaging but rather an attempt to make money, and perhaps become famous. The more I read about Charlie Kirk, the more I believe he was a similar type of guy.
Fair point but I still think there is a difference. I doubt that Trump really understands suffering but I am pretty sure he understands death. This is just speculation though. Let's just agree that both are absolutely awful people.
