The most amazing thing just happened in this old japanese high school. I went for a walk, no one around, and up on the third floor I heard a familiar tune. A student was practicing "Yuri On Ice" on the piano. It was beautiful. I silently applauded from beyond the door. ๐ฅนโฅ๏ธ

I think I'd be a good cosplay contest judge. And I wish I had that opportunity. Everything is about numbers and even though I know I make quality things, it doesn't even matter because my depictions of characters don't appeal to enough people. I like the craft, but I also love the modeling.

As a judge...how did they not even ask for progress photos....also most store bought anime costumes have a certain look to them (broadcloth as the main material being a give away) how did they not notice that....this is just a mix of items thrown together. ๐ซ

Well. I failed my everyday challenge already. Depression is a bitch. Anyways. Cosplayed Wriothesley fully this past weekend at Acosta (Japanese cosplay event). Eventually I'll make some upgrades once I'm home. I don't have my tools or sewing machine in Japan. #GenshinImpact #Wriothesley

If it helps at all, it's a pretty quick read relatively. I rly wanted to be strong and just watch the anime but I was way too intrigued! ๐ It's starting to pop up everywhere here. The songs are getting played in stores too lol

Day 2: Sweets in Japan. I may be obsessed. I don't feel icky after eating stuff here. There's no chemical preservative shit in this stuff. It's so good.

I couldn't stand to wait it out so I caught up with the manga 2 weeks ago and man. It only gets crazier. ๐ This series is so confoundedly wild but serious. I can't help but be drawn to it.

Some recent #wigstyling work I want to share. #AceTrappola from #TwistedWonderland. For a friend of mine! I'm pretty pleased with it! I love making fluffy wigs. The edges are all sealed with glue. Minimum hair spray. Mostly heat styling and cutting. I use a hairdryer and flat iron.

I'll post a collection of handmade cosplays soon I think. That's something I've been meaning to do elsewhere for a long time. Been cosplaying since 2014 and I've lost track of how many costumes and props I've made and how many wigs I've styled. It's been a long journey.
