Here on Nahla, the days and nights are super regular, but just LONGER.
Since we live by GMT but the moon has its own Nahla Local Time, the tracker now has a drift chart to compare and predict offset.

Here on Nahla, the days and nights are super regular, but just LONGER.

Now I know why nobody has made a planetary tracker before - it's damn hard :)
BUT I now finally understand the way that the galactic band and Hope [main star] move along Nahla's horizon.

In tracking Nahla's day/night cycle, I hit a major flaw - EDSM data is unreliable and should not be used. The only reliable data is from observation.
e.g. EDSM says Nahla temp is 333 K. Where? Never seen that. Even on the equator. Max is 275 K. 1/2

Nahla Tracker v0.51 (Sumerian)
In tracking Nahla's day/night cycle, I hit a major flaw - EDSM data is unreliable and should not be used. The only reliable data is from observation.

Things I didn't think of before on a 1-monitor Linux setup - running a terminal overlay onto my cockpit screen 👾
I can now make journal entries, read text docs, control the computer [well, within reason], and use Google Gemini from the terminal without switching out of Elite 🖥️
