This is an important next step with our community-wide climate action efforts. Now more than ever, we need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the impacts we’re already experiencing (like the extended extreme heat alert we’re in right now). Climate action enhances QOL & local economy.
City Council has approved a recommendation to update
Hamilton’s community-wide Climate Action Strategy to speed up efforts to reduce carbon emissions and better protect the community from extreme weather.
