I'm still feeling very privileged to have got a place on a really lovely workshop session run yesterday by the amazingly talented Laura Kate at the Lady Lever Gallery in Port Sunlight, with accompaniment by the phenomenal harpist Elinor Nicholson!
“Use what you have, use what the world gives you. Use the first day of fall: bright flame before winter’s deadness; harvest; orange, gold, amber; cool nights and the smell of fire.” (Shauna Niequist)
Wishing you the very best use of the autumn season this week! Sam aka LymphomaLass xx #autumn#fall
We got in an over 10k steps/about 4 mile walk today & saw these plants along the way.
I'm not making where we were public. (If you're desperate to know, private message me & I'll message you back.) But I thought I'd share some of the loveliness with you.
Thank you so much for all your kindness over the last couple of days!
The responses to my request (as part of the wonderful Sarah White's thoughtfully devised and thought provoking free visibility challenge) have blown me away!
I need your help, please! I'm taking part in Sarah White Branding and Visibility's challenge this week and one of the tasks is to ask people what 3 words they'd use to describe me! Eeeeek! So time to be brave! Please add your three words about me in the comments. Thanks! Sam aka LymphomaLass xx
Look who decided to say hello on our recent trip to the Lake District Wildlife Park! A percentage of the animal experience fees goes to wildlife charities. And my cards of Gonzo the hooded vulture are still on sale, to help Africa's vultures. Thanks! Sam aka LymphomaLass xx

Today I thought I'd share another Robson team outing - this time from my mum-in-law's mini-break in the Lake District last week. Rain was forecast so we took her on a trip back in time to a 17th century family farm. I hope you enjoy it too! Sam aka LymphomaLass xx #townend#troutbeck#LakeDistrict
After a busy day yesterday, in the morning networking at the Cheshire Club, and then working late on an illustration tender, this afternoon we had a Robson team outing to Kenyon Farm Hall! Hope you enjoy the photos! Sam aka LymphomaLass xx #PumpkinSeason#PumpkinPatch#PumpkinPicking#AutumnFun

How long does it take to write a monthly newsletter? In my case, a minimum of 28 days - because part of the process is living it all first! To read this month’s newsletter, and see if you’d like to subscribe, please head over to: mailchi.mp/41f5395b06a4... Thanks! Sam aka LLx #artist#artnewsletter
