Ah, thanks for clarifying! I wasn't sure if it was a save that would be overwritten by autosaves after a while, like in Breath of the Wild for example.

Laura mentioning the ability to reload a manual save too makes me hope that it is.

Autosaves make me nervous, like, "No! I want to be able to take things back! Let me have that fantasy in a game at least!" ^^;;

Thank you for the rundown! I'm especially glad to hear that the shiny changes are back and that sprint is a toggle, although I wish autosave could be turned off.

Do you know if hairstyle and clothing options are genderlocked in this game?

Oh good, you can buy a normal t-shirt ingame. Although the NPCs still comment on your "strange" clothes. (And tbh I'm still sort of tempted of shelling out for the Gatomon kigurumi DLC and really give them something to talk about.)

I've been bouncing between the male and female protagonist like an indecisive tennis ball (the game lets you switch at any point) because the girl's outfit looks like she's a stewardess and that's even sillier than the boy's motionlessly floating scarf, but they're both cute...

I see Time Stranger continues the Cybersleuth tradtion of making the same comments about your protagonist regardless of gender and making things a lot gayer if you play as the girl.

There's a lot going on right now, but I want to do one thing per month that's somehow related to that month to feel less like time's just passing by. Maybe for October, I can go back to playing a bit of Castlevania 1 (because spooky) each day(ish) and see how far I can get on one continue.

I still haven't decided if I want to get FF Tactics on steam or switch because there's not much of a difference, but ngl, actually being able to play it tomorrow might push me over to switch. XD

(steam release is 6 or 7 in the evening, and then a 2h+ download, and I need to sleep early...)

Both? I have zero trust that a gacha spun off from an existing property is going to live (esp. in English), and while I like Granblue's story and characters a lot and am certainly emotionally invested in them (and find its grind relaxing), I don't need another one of those in my life. XD
