i agree with you. also, posting this on their professional page, i’m sure the artist knew that some fans wouldn’t like it. like i said, it was a choice. and that would be the case with any fandom they drawn for.

also, not everyone has to love what they work with or every aspect of it and i know that. if they like the book, ok and great for them then. it might even be a plus for other people that only like the book. i take back the “hypocritical” then since i did not knew that 🙃

i just think that calling it mediocre it’s definitely a choice and was not needed (IMO) to make a point about wanting original stories.

it’s 100% ok not to like the movie fr, i personally just wouldn’t buy from someone that talked like that about something i like.

i understand not liking the movie (i love it but have some opinions about it myself) but i agree with you. i think the timing and tone is bad. they could have asked for more queer stories (fair!!) without shading another one. if i were a consumer of their work, it would def be that serious to me lol

do they accept order about the movie? if so it’s extremely hypocritical. it’s mediocre but good enough for them to make money off. i seriously can’t with these people. i hope people in the fandom don’t order from them anymore, let them draw about things they love then 🙃
