We pray for the families grieving unimaginable loss, for the brave first responders tirelessly searching for survivors, and for the community of Camp Mystic, which has been a beacon of faith and joy for nearly a century.

If Republicans believed in these provisions why not just present them the right way. I keep hearing claims that these are the best positions yet even with virtually zero real opposition.

If a provision was cut, it’s because it didn’t meet Senate standards not because of bias.
Instead of blaming the Parliamentarian, we should demand better crafted legislation that respects the rules.

The Senate Parliamentarian is a nonpartisan guardian of Senate rules, its the job to ensure fairness and precedent in lawmaking. Overruling them to bypass rules is a dangerous precedent that undermines our democratic process.
