#LYCS learners have achieved three Silver Awards and two Bronze Awards and we’re proud to say our guide praised them as being ‘one of the fastest groups’ he’s worked with!

This community-developed theatre performance has been an amazing testament to local talent, collaboration, and creativity. Thank you for all who joined us yesterday for a wonderful afternoon exploring local social justice issues and the ways we can take action for change.

#LYCS presents our Summer Production - Gulysses: The Gulls Are Back in Town! This play is inspired by James Joyce’s Ulysses and follows the story of two seagulls on their journey through Dublin as they get a bird-eye view of the issues facing modern Ireland and the wider world.

Our adventurers met Síle the Seal, a couple of jellyfish, and a few friendly shadow fish on their way down into the deep sea! They were able to explore their own storytelling skills in an interactive setting while learning about protecting our planet and sharing our space and resources.
Our #LYCS creche have just completed their Sea Legs adventure with the wonderful Freshly Ground Theatre! We used our imagination to embark on an amazing environmental journey through surfboard crafts, engaging games, and pretend play!
Our Adult Education programme is hosting its End of Year Showcase here at the #LYCS building next Tuesday, 1st July! All are welcome - we look forwarding to seeing you next week!
