Great info as usual. Human fear really causes significant destruction to Mother Earth.
Black Bears here in Indiana were eradicated by mid 1800s 😔
What a site it would’ve been to witness first hand these native woodlands at their peak
Trumpet honeysuckle also attracts hummingbirds, birds, native bees, moths and butterflies. The berries is better food source for birds than the Amur honeysuckle #nativebees #hummingbirds #birds
Amur honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii) destroy native ecosystems & reduce plant diversity. Plant native Trumpet Honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens). It’s host plant for Spring Azure (Celastrina ladon) and Snowberry clearwing (Hemaris diffinis) #invasive #ecosystem #honeysuckle #hostplant #grownative

Love finding the spicebush swallowtail (Papilio troilus) caterpillar on the spicebush! Found this one few years back
