The thing in Daggerfall that I will admit was my favorite thing has to be going to court when brought to justice and pleading your case and your punishment being based on the verdict.

My main thing against Daggerfall was the unreasonably large and boring dungeons and buggy shopkeepers that somehow can't afford to pay you for an old suit of armor worth a fraction of what you just gave them for the next tier of armor.

And that only knights can repair their own gear.
