A heads up for anyone here with a non-binary Passport

Starting this week the USCBP will be enforcing Binary genders on passports. If it’s anything other than M or F it will bounce back to the airline with an error and may cause travel issues

Fair point, the electoral college system is being broken and rigged and people are becoming disenfranchised. If people were better educated and more motivated to vote and their votes counted as much as anyone else's it would help. Redistricting, gerrymandering and making it hard to vote sucks.

Ok, rant over.. if you're thinking about traveling to the US right now.. don't. It's not safe here. My hope is that the fascism can be beaten back, though with the right rewriting rules and doing whatever they can regardless of rule of law I genuinely don't know what this country will look like soon

When all the red, rural states lose access to all their government subsidized social services and suddenly there's no food stamps, social security benefits, hospitals, or other programs I won't feel bad.. "I didn't vote for this!" Bitch yes it is, this is *exactly* what you voted for.

But no.. because the US is apparently too racist, or sexist we got a career criminal who wants to deport everyone they can who isn't a white rich god fearing Republican that he can make money off of who is cannibalizing and destroying the government as quickly as possible.

Everyone should have the right to shelter, food, and healthcare at an affordable cost. The fact that 10 - 15 people have more wealth than the entire country combined seems crazy to me. Imagine what could be accomplished if there was basic universal income and people's basic needs were met.
