![A further continuation. In the 1st panel, Lover, now very visibly pregnant, is leaning on a bar with Darling, a Hyur Highlander. Darling has tanned skin & short-clipped burgundy hair & is wearing a grape purple t-shirt & black cargo trousers. He's smoothly putting an arm around Lover as he also leans flirtily on the bar. Lover has a glass of water, which he has paused in lifting to his lips to turn & smile at Darling. Lover's jacket is open to accomodate his swollen chest & belly. His narration reads:
Most surrogates are women, & most of them don't need to undergo the first phase of the procedure, Inducement. However, because I was lucky enough to have my change when I was young, I never developed a natural cycle, & so my fertile period has to be induced before I can be fertilised & impregnated. Either way, this is all very normalised now. Surrogates are well respected, & we have our every need met while we're working.
In the 2nd panel, Lover is relaxing on a couch at Mosiac some time later, with a hand on his now due belly. "Sweetheart", an Au Ra Raen man with dark purple skin, ivory coloured scales & horns and white hair, is sitting with him.
Sweetheart: So, have you figured out what you're having yet, lover? You're huge this time! It must be a litter of something, surely!
Lover: Haha, oh, sweetheart. [heart] It doesn't feel like a litter. It's been a long one too, so I'm sure it must be something big. I've a few guesses in mind, but we'll see when I deliver tomorrow, won't we. [heart]

The second phase, Gestation, can vary a bit depending on what I'm carrying, with bigger, more powerful creatures usually taking longer. The big ones are my favourites; I love being pregnant, so it's wonderful when it lasts for a long time, & I usually start to show really early, too.
