The greenhouse in the Borel manor is her sanctuary. She spends a majority of her time there and even placed a bed where she can rest. It’s warm & pleasant, but also is where her & Aymeric unwind. It feels carefree & like home.

It’s exhausting existing as a brown woman in this country. I’ve had several passive aggressive comments & dirty looks sent my way when I speak Spanish with my son, but they can all fuck off.

Sadly this has made me nervous to be on my own when I go out. Always vigilant.

My yt partner showed up (she was male presenting at the time). Apparently I couldn’t exist outside past 10pm on my own because they thought I was a threat. I ended up being surrounded by 7 bicycle cops, apparently heavily preggers me was scary with my 3DS in my hand.

Now I gotta carry my passport🙃

I also read this comment and omg I didn’t even think of them being that petty, but would explain why Katara wasn’t at the ceremony. I’m just so mad that she was tossed to the side as she was, she deserved better writing.

Tbh i think you're right, at that point in the video the audience was laughing so loud i could barely make out the first word, but 'women' makes more sense with what i could hear than 'people.
and yeah, bryan absolutely threw a shitfit over lok criticism, and then there's the fact that when a fan asked about a potential gaang reunion in lok, one of them (i think bryan? but idr, i can never track that particular transcript down) said 'zuko and katara aren't going to date if that's what you're asking' which.... wasn't even REMOTELY implied in the wording of the question Imfao. but then they went on to have katara not even attend her own granddaughter's air master ceremony because zuko was in that scene and heaven forbid they even be on SCREEN together.

they are extremely petty and i really don't see that changing any time soon, which is part of why i'm so apprehensive about the live-action. 'it's being run by the creators!' isn't the great mark in its favor that it otherwise might have been.

Because they admitted to Aang being a sort of self insert for them and they were appalled that some of us didn’t want him to “win” the girl in the end. They didn’t even bother to give her a moment to think about that surprise kiss & her own feelings about him. They just went HEA with no build up.

Yep, honestly I didn’t care that they didn’t like Zutara, but that whole thing was abhorrent and soul crushing for many in the community, it made me leave the fandom once the show was over. It became toxic AF.
