a) 'almost since i was born' is crazy but the timeline does check out if kitty's 13-14, peter is in his mid-20s, and (i'm assuming) it's already been retconned by the 80s that he got bit at 15. but it's still wild since their current ages are 'at least 25' + 'not allowed to go past 30' respectively.

finally got to illyana's 'origin' mini and, unsurprisingly, it was heartwrenching. surprisingly, i did not know until now about the alt reality x-men (particularly ororo and kitty) who shaped illyana into what she is just as much as belasco did.
