Finally settling into my home desk after an exciting hour -of -leaving for work knowing the kid's school has power outage (per bus)

Sure do.
They have something like 600 varieties in the property. Tho finding some of the really old one off is difficult.

Heh. I just got the sales email from my fav orchard refreshing their spring apple selection.

2 lots of mystery apples. They know the rootstock but misplaced what they grafted on. So tempting!

Since cephalopods are cool now, I don't think I'll ever be seeing those octopus socks back in parental basket.

I settled on dumpster fire socks and a faded RBG shirt asserting "Women belong in all places where decisions are being made."

Ride to school given with a certain amount of teasing.

Followed by watching a perfectly bland and normal looking teen person- no towering hat and no backpack bling- get out of the car ahead and sedately follow mine in.

And they stole the octopus socks!

Once upon a time I had estimated what percentage of his public base salary my R house rep would pay for a silver level plan vs what percentage a family making the median in his home county would pay to buy something comparable from the new exchange.

Spouse passes reminding that 1 hustle will be done mid Dec, plus adjuncting. (and his college is being extra squiffy with spring adjunct offers.)
